Zichron Ya’akov

Zichron Ya’akov is located on Mt. Carmel’s southernmost tip – 3 kms from the Mediterranean Sea .

Zikhron Ya’akov in one the gems in Israel, with a close proximity to Mediterranean Sea. The town of 23000 people is still quite unknown for most, but the location is excellent for anybody who is exploring Israel. In one hour you are in Tiberias, Yaffo, the airport or Acco. You get to Haifa in 30 minutes. Just a few kilometers away are many nice beaches. There are wonderful tracks for trekkers and biker in the vicinity. Zichron Ya’akov is the winery capital of Israel – actually even named after a french Jewish wine Baron, who helped out the town much during the early years of .

Zikhron Ya’akov is especially for someone who wants beautiful surroundings and views, culture, picturesque restaurants and relaxed but romantic feeling from ones holiday. There are also plenty of interesting “near history” to delve into – for instance the First Aliyah museum and Nili museum tell about the colorful past of the town. On the southern side of the town there is Roman amphitheater Shuni and many other historical sights. One of the finest Israeli national parks, Ramat HaNadiv is visible from the terrace of the unit.

Zikhron Ya’akov is a good “base camp” for seeing biblical sights as well. You get into almost all of Northern Israeli sights in about an hour. Jerusalem is only 1,5 hours by car.

Nearest train station at Binyamina is only 6 kms away.
